Lecudina myoisophagou, a new species of gregarine parasite of Myoisophagos lacterus (Heteronemertean)

Examination of samples of Myoisophagos laceterus revealed that some of them were parasited by gregarines. Even if gregarines were previously reported in nemerteans, they were never described in Myoisophagos lacteus. After meticulous boservations, we recons- tructed the life cycle of a monocystidae spindle-shaped gregarine which proved to be a new species. We proposed to call it Lecudina myosophagou.
