Multivariate analysis of volumetric variation of intratelencephalic structures in Speleomantes strinatii (Aelen, 1958) from France

Multivariate analysis of intratelencephalic volume variation between one specimen of Speleomantes strinatii (AELLEN, 1958) from the north and six specimens from the south of its range in France provided no evidence of a north-south distinction. The previous separation of two subspecies- Speleomantes italicus gormani (LANZA, 1952) and Speleomantes italicus strinatii-si therefore not supported at the neurotaxonomic level.
