IN THE AIR

We flew the test flights at the local AMA field. It features a nice long, paved runway, and plenty of overrun areas. Short grass would be an acceptable substitute as would a hard-packed surface. The plane taxis extremely well and feels solid on the ground. I did feed in some rudder input to keep the tracking on line. Rollouts are quick and climb-outs are effortless. The tail comes up in a hurry, and in a second or two, you can rotate and reach your desired altitude in almost any attitude. When it's time to land, aim into the wind (if any) and let the model settle into an almost level angle of attack, and grease it home.
