Thailand's National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has approved several amendments to the junta-drafted interim constitution, including one that will allow for a national vote on the next charter. The NLA unanimously voted in support of the amendments to the interim Constitution as proposed by the cabinet and the National Council for Peace and Order. The amendments call for the holding of a referendum to endorse the draft Constitution with the addition of a question for the voters to answer whether they want reforms before election or not; the end of the terms of both the National Reform Council and the Constitution Drafting Committee once there is a vote on the draft charter.
