RenewAire has upgraded its ventilation software suite to include an easy-to-use ventilation calculator. By filling in an on-screen form you can choose between ASHRAE 62-1999 and the recently adapted 62-2004 version. Drop-down menus allow selection of occupancy type.rnWhen using the 62-1999 version you may enter either the number of occupants or square footage of floor space. For the 62-2004 version you must enter both the number of occupants and the square footage, and the type of heating or cooling system (which determines how well the air mixes in the space, i.e., the ventilation effectiveness).
