Using a flexible fiber optic cable connected to a video view screen and camera, the Model DCS1500 enables real-time visual observation, recording and remote data logging in video or still photography of areas that are difficult to reach, dangerous to get to or otherwise inaccessible. Primary applications include use with Air conditioning systems, heat exchangers, furnaces, plumbing, mold identification and all general inspection.rnCompared to competitive models which can cost twice as much (or more), the DCS1500 is superior in many areas including: more interfaces to allow easier connectivity, slimmer viewing tips to allow access to narrower spaces, and a wider field of view. The unit is more sturdy and can work well under wider range of temperature conditions. It has an MPEG4 recording function (which no other models have) and a sharper image with much higher pixel density.
