The modular framing system was originally developed by the Arosio brothers of Milan, Italy in 1977. Since that time, this system has become the standard method of fabricating air handling units (AHU's) in Europe and throughout the world. What started as a system of die cast corners and their corresponding aluminum profiles has now grown to a complete and ever expanding system of structures, components, and accessories.rnIn order to enter the American market, the Arosio brothers helped form Modular Framing Systems, Inc. (MFS) which now serves as the sole distributor for the modular framing system throughout the United States and Mexico. The MFS main office and inventory warehouse is located strategically in Houston, TX so as to offer short lead times on materials to all of its customers.
