Not many bricks celebrate an actual birthday. Then again, not many bricks were brought into the world by an internationally renowned architect. The brick in question is, of course, Kolumba - which first saw the light of day a decade ago, when the Kolumba Museum opened in September 2007. The story bears repeating.
