Artificial narrow intelligence generates coherent relationships within architecture and its elements while stripping away their disciplinary significance. Embracing the constrained nature of these intelligences rather than attempting to force anthropic metaphors onto their production is critical to extracting new disciplinary value from them.The latter approach leads to false expectations of generative production or creative potential. Instead, the constraints of narrow intelligence allow us to interface both to alternative models of perception and alternative understandings of our disciplinary past. Designing through these constraints produces aesthetics and material orders that defy traditional legibility while exhibiting latent coherence.
