There are sub-segments in the Mexican dairy industry that remainrnvery fragmented, and we expect consolidation to accelerate in therncoming years. We believe consolidation will be led by the largerndomestic conglomerates Grupo Lala and Alpura, though they willrnremain at a disadvantage to foreign brands in the yoghurt category.rnGrupo Lala and Alpura controlled 32.5% of the Mexican dairyrnmarket in 2009; however, the companies were over-represented inrnmilk (controlling 69.0% of this market) and under-represented inrncheese (18.3%) and yoghurt (12.10%, mainly held by Grupo Lala).rnAs a result, the two companies have room to increase their marketrnshare in cheese and yoghurt in particular.
