摘要

ater is a precious, yet often forgotten resource. As water professionals—whether you are a high-level manager or are working in the field—we have a responsibility to educate our consumers so we can help ensure an ample supply of water for future generations. All too often people forget about what really goes into producing potable water. It's just taken for granted that when you turn on the faucet you'll get clean water 24/7/365. What happens to make that a reality remains a mystery to most people. If we want to implement successful water conservation programs, we must first educate our customers. The key to that success is teaching our customers what it takes to produce the water that so easily flows from their taps.
