Capitalize on your trip to Washington, D.C., by taking your critical water concerns directly to the US Congress. To take advantage of the rare opportunity presented by this year's conference location, AWWA is facilitating Capitol Hill meetings with key House and Senate decision-makers. This is your chance not only to weigh in on essential water issues but also to go behind the scenes and witness the inner workings of Washington firsthand. In conjunction with the congressional visits, an issues briefing and training session will be held Monday, June 13, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, from 7:00 a.m. to noon, buses will shuttle conferees between the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Capitol Hill for their scheduled appointments.
