Melbourne Treatment Plant Upgrade Under Way

Australia's Eastern Tertiary Alliance has signed an agreement to upgrade Melbourne Water's Eastern Treatment Plant in which Alliance partners will be responsible for building seven new structures within the existing treatment plant boundary. The new components include a tertiary supply pump station, ozone injection and ozone production buildings, biological media filters, an ultraviolet system, and two large chlorine contact basins.
