摘要

This is Part II of the comprehensive study of the North Atlantic (NAT) airspace. The main purpose of the research is to assess the potential sav- ings of fuel consumption due to the proposed changes in the separation standards of the NAT airspace. The fuel savings estimates were obtained using 24 sample traffic days in 1996 and forecast traffic for the years 2000, 2005, and 2010.
