船舶悬链长度的计算方法

The length of the anchor chain released directly influence the holding power of anchor and holding power of anchor decides the safety of the ship in the state of anchoring. So it is very important to confirm the length of the anchor chain when the ship is anchored. To calculate the length of the anchor chain when the ship is anchored by the method of parabolic and catenary, and through the comparative analysis the error between parabolic method and catenary method,which has show that the accuracy by catenary method is higher than by parabolic method.
