Taking the 45 m self-standing steel chimney as an example,the paper specifically describes self-standing steel chimney design meth-ods,features and design matters. Through software compiling computation program,it calculates and compares self-standing steel chimney,an fi-nally determines its design section,which has certain guiding role for designing self-standing steel chimney structure.%以45 m 高自立式钢烟囱为例，详细阐述了自立式钢烟囱的设计方法、特点以及设计中应注意的问题，并通过软件编制计算程序，对自立式钢烟囱进行计算、比较，最终确定了其设计断面，对自立式钢烟囱的结构设计有一定的参考作用。
