This paper introduced the characteristics and physical performance index of water-swelling water-proofing gel,described the construc-tion technology,special parts construction key points and matters needing attention in construction process of water-swelling water-proofing gel, provided theory basis for its application in practical engineering.%介绍了遇水膨胀止水胶的特性及物理性能指标，阐述了遇水膨胀止水胶的施工工艺，特殊部位施工要点及在施工过程中的注意事项，为其在实际工程中的应用提供了理论依据。
