This PaPer introduced the engineering general situation of a factory inverted cone insulation water tower in Xinjiang,using the finite el-ement software MIDAS,established the analysis model of the water tower,calculated the force of water tower,Presented the design construction Plan of water tower,met the function requirement of water tower.%介绍了新疆某厂区内倒锥形保温水塔的工程概况，采用 MIDAS 有限元软件，建立了该水塔的分析模型，计算了水塔的受力情况，提出了水塔的设计施工方案，满足水塔的功能要求。
