Objective To investigate the function of enterovirus infection in the occurrence and development of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).Methods Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method was used to de-tect the enterovirus RNA expression of 109 cases of DCM patients , in which 49 patients were Coxsackie B virus RNA-posi-tive ( positive group ) and negative ones were found in 60 cases ( negative group ) .The serum coxsackievirus and adenovirus RNA contents in the two groups were detected by ELISA , and the short-term prognosis ( including mortality and readmission records and other adverse cardiac events ) was compared .Results The serum enterovirus RNA in the positive group was significantly higher than that of the negative group (P<0.05), and the readmission rate, acute heart failure recurrence rate, mortality rate were significantly higher than those of the negative group (P<0.05).Conclusion Enterovirus infec-tion plays an important role in the occurrence and development of DCM , and the short-term prognosis of patients with higher enterovirus RNA is worse .%目的:探讨肠道病毒感染在扩张型心肌病( DCM )发生发展中的作用。
