The mode of production,as a criteria,marks the coming of the third industrial revolu-tion,which can be seen as the further development of the Third Wave,the perfect combination of informationalization and industrialization,and an important opportunity for human beings. For the time being,the third industrial revolution repre-sents the ideal and reality because significant breakthroughs have been made on the new technology and new patterns of management,which have an impact on people's life. However,they have not achieved comprehensive innovation and caused profound reform in whole society. With regard to the third industrial revolution,China ought to treat it in a cautious and optimistic manner.
