In-situ polymerization of MMT/starch-based superabsorbent polymer composites(SAPCs) under microwave-irradiation was investigated.The reaction conditions,such as the amount of MMT, the amount of initiator and crosslinking agent,the amount of monomer,the neutralization degree of acrylic acid(AA),the microwave power level and irradiation time were discussed.The water retaining capability at 60 ℃ was studied.The structures of polymers were recorded by FTIR.The results indica-ted that it only needs 150 s at 210 W to obtain SAPCs with the maximum water absorption capability of 1350 g/g.The addition of MMT increases the water absorption capability by 22% and the water re-taining capability at 60 ℃ by 33%.The results of FTIR indicated that the chemical reactions occurred among MMT,starch and acrylic acid.%通过微波辐射采用原位聚合法制备了蒙脱土(MMT)改性淀粉基高吸水性复合树脂.考察了各种工艺条件对树脂吸水量的影响及树脂在60℃下的保水性,采用FTIR对树脂结构进行了表征.结果表明,在210W的微波功率下仅需反应150 s就可获得最大吸水量为1350 g/g的树脂,MMT的加入使树脂吸水量和保水率分别提高了22%和33%.FTIR表征结果显示MMT和淀粉及丙烯酸发生了接枝共聚反应,蒙脱土和淀粉基丙烯酸之间形成了氢键.
