复合高斯海杂波环境下雷达虚警概率分析

         

摘要

Sea clutter is a common problem in maritime radar processing that severely dcgrades system performance. Compared with conventional Rayleigh model, the compound-Gaussian distribution model can precisely describe the statistical properties of sea clutter. To explore the theoretical performance of the noncoherent radar in such clutter environment, the probability density function(PDF) of detection factor and the analytical expressions of the false alarm probability(FAP) are derived. Here a moment generating function (MGF) based approximation method is used. The analysis results show that the derived theoretical expressions of the PDF and FAP match the Monte Carlo simulations quite well, and the approximation method is a very convenient method to analyze the radar performance in compound-Gaussian sea clutter environment.%针对在服从复合高斯分布的海杂波务件下,进行脉冲积累检测的非相干处理雷达,推导出了其检测变量因子的概率密度函数.由于复合高斯海杂波的分布形式较为复杂,导致直接求解其概率密度困难.为了在数学上获得上述条件下雷达系统的理论性能,文中借助一种基于矩生成函数的近似方法,得到了检测变量因子概率密度的高精度解析结果.经过仿真分析,结果表明该近似方法的精确性很高,并且可以方便地推导出雷达虚警概率等性能的解析结论.
