In this paper the fundamental performance, concepts and methodsof Object Oriented Programming (OOP) are introduced. Then a description about how to use OOP method in electrical power system software designing in respects of system model, sparse matrices processing, universal power flow calculationetc.%本文首先介绍了面向对象程序设计(简称OOP)的基本特征、概念和方法，然后，从电力系统模型、稀疏矩阵处理、通用潮流类的构造等几个方面具体描述如何运用OOP方法进行电力系统应用软件设计。
