Forward Single-Stage Power Factor Correction AC/DC Converter

摘要

Power Factor Correction (PFC) is the capacity of generating or absorbing the reactive power produced by a load.The major industrial loads have aninductive power factor. The current tends to go beyond the power is usually used for the power conversion.This paper introduces a forward Single-Stage Power Factor Correction AC/DC converter which effectively improves the power factor up to PF=0.999.The simulation and experimental results verified our design.
