英国城乡地域的划分：标准、方法与历程

摘要

Urban and rural areas division is the foundation of urban rural statistics and policy making. The paper reviews the three phases of British urban-rural division, standard, and approach, and raises urban rural division and population statistics suggestions:population density is a critical index to divide urban and rural, and it diferentiates the center and hinterland between city and region;built-up landscape is also a standard to divide urban and rural areas from rural consideration; spatial governance department is responsible for data renewal, and a departmental cooperation mechanism is needed.%科学合理的城乡地域划分，是完善城乡统计、制定城乡政策的科学基础。研究通过对英国城乡地域划分的3个发展历程、划分标准及划分方法的分析，提出对我国优化城乡划分和人口统计工作的启示：在指标选取上，可以人口密度尤其是相对密度为核心确定城乡划分指标，凸显“城市—区域”之间的集聚与腹地关系；在兼顾乡村方面，可以建成景观为标准进行城乡划分，避免城镇建设用地的无序蔓延和见缝插针；在数据更新上，可由空间管理部门牵头，建立部门之间合作、共享的长效运行机制。
