PAM对磨料浆体射流速度的影响规律研究

         

摘要

Abrasive jet cutting, as a more efficient machining or cutting method, has emerged in recent years in mining and machining industries. In practice, the polymer PAM is generally applied to jet fluid to increase the suspension ability of the abrasive particles. However, the knowledge lacks in general about the effects of PAM on jet flow. The effects of PAM on axial velocity attenuation trends of both abrasive particles and fluid in a jet have been systematically studied with PIV technology in this paper. And it is found that the PAM is a proper type of additive in improving the velocity fields, and that axial velocity of an abrasive jet increases as PAM concentration does in the fluid. The results of the PIV measurement can help give a better understanding about the basic physics of abrasive suspension jet flow, and a good guidance to validate and develop reliable computational models to describe the jet.%利用PIV测速技术对淹没条件下磨料浆体射流中,流体及磨料的速度与PAM的浓度的关系进行了系统的测量研究。研究发现,随浆体中聚合物浓度增加,射流中流体速度以及磨料颗粒的速度都相应增加,并且随聚合物的浓度提高,射流的会聚性增强;磨料颗粒的粒径大小对磨料在射流中的跟随速度有重要影响。同样条件下,颗粒粒径越大在射流中的速度越低。大理石切割实验基本证明了PIV速度测量的结果。
