In this paper, DNA damages irradiated by heavy ions were investigated. Irradiation was performed at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL). The human hepatoma cells were chosen as the test cell line irradiated by 80 MeV/u 20Ne10+, then SCGE was used to detect the DNA damages.
