Disease and literature have been closely and potentially related since time immemorial. In recent years sick literature has been receiving gradual attention in the field of academic studies. Despite the fact that Yan Geling is a representative of fiction as written by the new migrants, her depression and her literary creation are also linked at a deeper level.
