刘古愚与清末陕西的数学教育

摘要

Liu Guyu is a famous educationalist in modern China. He stands for saving country by education and sets a high value on real learning and mathematics. Throughout his education career, Liu Guyu printed and collected many mathematics works and trained a large number of mathematical education personnel. Liu Guyu has made great contribution to mathematical education of Shaanxi in in Late Qing Dynasty. This paper discusses Liu Guyu＇ s thought and practice of mathematical education.%刘古愚是我国近代著名的教育家，他主张教育救国，重视实学，提倡数学。在长期执教生涯中，他刊刻和搜集了大量的数学著作，培养了大量的数学专门人才，为推动清末陕西数学教育做出了不可磨灭的贡献。论述了刘古愚的数学教育思想以及他的数学教育实践活动。
