作为社会转型时期独特的中国文化现象，广场舞引起了广泛的社会关注。对于广场舞的流行原因，国内外学界有不同界说。从马克思主义文化观的视角来看，广场舞的流行，具有我国经济社会发展取得巨大进步的时代背景，是人们生活方式、交往方式转型的独特产物，是中华优秀传统文化的特殊体现，是国民精神状态日趋向上的映射。广场舞引发的权利主体、社会道德、舞蹈形象等争论，凸显了中国社会转型过程中的文化困境。推动广场舞积极健康发展，进而助推文化强国建设，要求我们增强文化的自觉、自信，并在增强文化认同、凝聚价值共识、加强公共文化建设等方面下功夫。%As a unique cultural phenomenon occurring in the process of China’s social transformation,the open-air public dancing has attracted wide attention. Both domestic and foreign scholars have given different definitions to explain the reason why this type of group dancing is so popular in contemporary China. From the Marxist cultural perspective,its popularity is due to China’s dramatic social and economic development:it is the direct result of the changes in people’s life style and mode of social interaction,the unique embodiment of fine Chinese cultural tradition and the manifestation of Chinese people’s increasingly positive mentality. Controversies caused by the open-air public dancing over such issues as the citizen’s right,social ethics,and aesthetic taste of its choreography actually speak of the difficulties China is facing in cultural sectors during the period of its social transformation. In order to ensure a sound development of open-air public dancing and consequently promote building China into a culturally strong nation,we have to strengthen our confidence in and awareness of our own culture and make enough efforts to among others enhance our cultural identity,forge consensus on values and improve the construction of public culture.
