Landscape Evaluation of Traditional Chinese Residences: A Case Study of Sunken Cave Dwellings in Baishe Village, Sanyuan County, Shaanxi Province

摘要

With reference to the existing research in the field of historical building evaluation, this study introduced the theory of landscape evaluation, constructed an index evaluation system by using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), calculated the relative weight of the judgment matrix by using the pairwise comparison, and assigned each index factor to determine the landscape evaluation scores of traditional residences. Based on the investigation of the sunken cave dwellings in Baishe Village, Sanyuan County, Shaanxi Province, the traditional residence landscape evaluation system was applied in practice, the evaluation results were analyzed, and suggestions for protection and development were put forward.
