我国教育对代际收入流动的影响--来自分位数回归的经验证据

摘要

使用分位数回归测量教育对代际收入流动的影响，结果发现：给定子辈的条件收入分布，低端的代际相关性比高端要高；受教育年限变量的引入降低了代际收入相关性，而且低端教育比高端教育回报相对更高。这表明教育是重要的收入代际转移机制，教育回报的异质性是不同组群代际联系差异的重要来源。%In this paper we estimate the effect of education on intergenerational mobility of income with quantile regression approach.We find that the intergenerational earnings correlation and the return of education are greater at the bottom of the son’s conditional earnings distribution than at the top.The evidences suggest education is the important mechanism of intergenerational transmission of income and the heterogeneity of return to education is the important resource of the difference of intergenerational correlation among cohorts.
