In Japan, The research on school principal qualification rose in the 1980s and has come into fo- cus on the practicality and individuality, changing from the interests in institution and history. This paper divides the research on school principal qualification into three types and makes a brief review to illustrate their achieve- ments and tendency. It ends with some reflection on future Chinese research on school principal qualification.%日本校长资格研究自20世纪80年代起步,逐渐从历史和制度本位转向对实践和个体的关心。本文在对研究视角进行简要划分的基础上,结合相关的历史与实践背景介绍了日本校长资格研究的发展动向与主要成果,并对我国进一步研究校长资格进行了思考。
