The principle of cyclic salt spray corrosion test was described, and several related standards were introduced, including Chinese national standard GB/T 24195 (identical to ISO 16151), Volkswagen's PV 1210, General Motors's GMWI4872, Chrysler's SAE J2334 (developed by SAE Automotive Corrosion and Prevention Committee), Nissan's MO 158, and SAIC Motor's SMC 30054 (identical to MG-Rover's RES 30.CT.H9).
