Professor Du Xiao Zhen’s philosophical essays will be published soon.I have some words about French philosophy as a preface of her book. The idea of “sensibility”is entering into the field of metaphysics with“temporality”,and the idea of “reality”,too. Then,we can see,why the tighten connection between philosophy and reality has been an obvious characteristic in contemporary French philosophy. If we can say,Heidegger emancipated the “temporality”from the mechanical idea of “space”,we can say also that the French“post-modernists”were trying to approach the “space”from the new idea of“temporality”. The idea of “death”as a “break off ”makes a room to store the“temporality”.Then,not only the“activity”,but also the “passivity”keep it’s own position in the metaphysical field.
