The Taoist idea originates from nihility, a kind of invisibility. It breaks away from the life-world and reduces itself into another world that is the field of art and poetry, created by imaginations. Surprisingly, most French philosophers in the late twentieth century refer to this foreign field, which is the field of difference and absence, and also the suspense of reality and reason. Some French philosophers left us Taoist traces, such as Satre, Derrida and le Clézio. This is an unconsciousness communication between Taoist School and French philosophers. It indicates a new orientation in French philosophy. Under this circumstance, Chinese philosophy needs to develop new implications from their own culture in the beginning of the new century.
