To obtain the optimal design for Ad Hoc network routing performance under a highway environment, the environment of a high degree of simulation is built using network simulation software compared with traffic simulation software. Experiments about data and video transmission are carried out over vehicular Ad Hoc network with different types of routing protocols. The performance of these routing protocols are studied under different kind situations and various communication parameters, and improvement methods are suggested. In addition, a new GPS and map based prediction routing protocol named GMPR are proposed. It is very useful and has a good reference for the applications of VANET under highway circumstance.%为得到高速公路环境下的网络路由性能的最佳方案,综合运用了网络仿真软件和交通仿真软件,搭建了仿真度极高的高速公路环境,采用了不同类型的路由协议在车载Ad Hoc网络中进行数据传输和视频的通信,研究分析了各种路由协议在不同的应用和通信参数下的性能以及提出改进的通信方案,并提出了一种新的基于GPS位置信息与电子地图的预测路由协议GMPR,对实际场景的车载AdHoc通信性能的研究具有指导意义和应用价值.
