Objective To assess the effects of cigarette smoking on heart rate, electrocardiogram and blood pressure in the new recruits during exercise stress test. Methods 52 smokers and 48 nonsmokers were tested with the standard Bruce treadmill protocol from Step Ⅲ. The heart rate and blood pressure were measured at motionless rest, every 3 minutes during the exercise stress test and every 3 minutes during recovery using standard laboratory procedures. Results Compared with the controls, the smokers had an obvious increase in heart rate during exercise stress test (P 0.05),非吸烟组运动应激时及应激恢复3 min时舒张压有所降低(P 0.05)。结论吸烟对新入伍士兵运动应激时心率、血压和心电图影响较大,可能引起心血管自主神经支配障碍。
