Objective To observe the changes of serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) and correlation analysis of 60 cases of patients with ankylosing spondylitis ( AS) . Methods The serum SOD changes were observed in 60 cases with ankylosing spondylitis and the relationship with the age, duration of AS patients with pain severity 10cm level vision control France (VAS) ,Bath disease activity index,Bath functional index,Bath overall index,and erythro-cyte sedimentation rate,high sensitivity C-reactive protein and TCM Hou integral were analyzed. Moreover,the SOD changes in different disease activity state were also observed. Results Compared with normal control,SOD level was lower in 63. 33% of AS patients. Furthermore, AS patients were grouped according to disease activity,and SOD levels were significantly lower in the active disease group than those in the remission group (P ＜0. 01). There was a negative correlation between SOD levels and VAS, BASDAI,BASFI, BAS-G,the ESR,CRP and Chinese medicine syndromes integral in AS patients (P ＜0. 01 or P ＜0. 05) ,and no correlation with age,disease duration,albumin,globulin ,immunoglobulin G,immunoglobulin A and immunoglobulin M (P＞0.05). Conclusion Serum SOD level of AS patients is significantly reduced. The reduced antioxidant ability of AS patients is related to AS disease activity and inflammatory response.%目的 观察强直性脊柱炎(AS)患者血清超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的变化并进行相关性分析.方法 选择60例AS患者为研究组,观察其SOD的变化,并分析其与年龄、病程、AS患者疼痛严重性10 cm水平视力对照法(VAS)、Bath疾病活动指数(BASDAI)、Bath功能指数(BASFI)、Bath整体指数(BAS-G)、红细胞沉降率(ESR)、超敏C反应蛋白(hs-CRP)、中医证侯积分的相关性；同时观察研究组在不同疾病活动状态下SOD的变化情况.结果 ①研究组中有63.33％的AS患者SOD水平低于与正常参考值,有36.67％的AS患者SOD水平在正常参考值之内,未见高于正常参考值者；②按病情活动性分组,疾病活动组的SOD水平显著低于缓解组(P＜0.01).③Pearson相关性分析表明,AS患者血清SOD水平与VAS、BASDAI、BASFI、BAS-G、ESR、CRP和中医证候积分呈负相关性(P＜0.01或P＜0.05),与年龄、病程、免疫球蛋白G、免疫球蛋白A、免疫球蛋白M无相关性(P＞0.05).结论 AS患者血清SOD水平显著降低,且与疾病活动及免疫炎性反应有关.
