Objective To design a Brilliance 16 CT room that meets the national standards in order to effectively protect the staff from the hazard of X ray radiation.Methods Firstly, the wall and ceiling shielding thickness of the room calculated according to the formula should be 4 mm and 3 mm lead equivalent respectively. Then, the wall, ceiling, protection door, observation window and ventilation system structure were respectively designed based on the computed results and the theoretical analysis.Results The Gamma radiation dose rate was monitored in ifve monitoring sites, including the observation window, control gate, room door, waiting area and control room. The maximum average annual effective dose for staff was about 0.0044 mSv, far below the state standard of 20 mSv. ConclusionThe research and design of the Brilliance 16 CT room can effectively protect the staff from the X ray radiation hazard.%目的:设计符合国家标准的Brilliance 16 CT机房,以有效防护X射线辐射对工作人员的危害。方法首先,通过公式计算出机房墙体屏蔽厚度应为4 mm铅当量,天花屏蔽厚度应为3 mm铅当量,然后根据计算结果及理论分析分别设计机房四周墙体、天花、防护门、观察窗和通风系统的结构。结果分别在观察窗、控制门、机房大门、候诊区、控制室5个监测点进行γ辐射剂量率监测,计算出的工作人员年均有效照射剂量最大值约为0.0044 mSv,远低于20 mSv的国家标准。结论研究设计的Brilliance 16 CT机房能有效防护X射线辐射,保护工作人员安全。
