This paper applied the submodel technique on a mini-van for vehicle strength analysis.We introduced stress recovery approach to obtain accurate submodel boundary conditions,and the comparison between the results of submodel analysis and vehicle model analysis shows the credibility of the submodel approach.Then mesh refinement process was done on the submodel to guarantee the calculation converges over mesh size.Convergence analysis results show that with the ability of obtaining the accurate solution for critical stress area,the submodel technique ensures computational efficiency and improves the simulation accuracy,which shows the high significance on engineering guidance of the submodel technique.%将子模型技术应用于某微型车的强度计算,用应力恢复的方法获取子模型的边界条件,尔后,用子模型的实验结果验证了应力恢复方法的正确性.实验通过对子模型进行网格加密处理,确保了计算结果对于网格尺寸的收敛性.收敛性计算结果表明:子模型技术能获得车身关键受力区域的精确应力解,在保证计算效率的前提下提高了仿真精度,具有实际工程应用价值.
