We thank Melsen et al.for their interest in our study.Their remarks allow us to clarify key aspects of our work on human bone marrow NK cell biology.1 Our study reports the unsupervised single-cell analysis of NK cells from eight healthy donors and eight acute myeloid leukemia(AML)patients.1 First,we detected an adaptive NK cell subset that correlated with the cytomegalovirus(CMV)positivity status of the donors.
