Some Recommendations on the Handling of Composite Insulators

This presentation draws on notes and documents prepared by insulator manufacturers and utilities. It contains a list of recommendations regarding the handling of composite insulators during reception and storage at the utility as well as during line construction. This topic is part of the ongoing work of CIGRE WG 22-03.
