The injection of CO_2 will give rise to a variety of coupledrnphysical and chemical processes, which may affect thernhydraulic integrity of caprocks. Likewise, when CO_2 is storedrnas a component of EOR projects, the initial depletion of thernreservoir, and all the influences associated with the EORrnprocesses may affect the hydraulic integrity of caprocks.rnTherefore, it is necessary to understand how the hydraulicrnintegrity evolves to make geological storage of greenhouserngases a feasible option. Such information must be imbedded inrna performance assessment to determine the integrity of arnreservoir and its caprock over an extended period of time. Arnpreliminary methodology to evaluate the hydraulic integrity ofrnthe Weyburn project is presented.
