We have studied the electrical transport properties of porousrnmedia and the physical meaning of Archie’s parameters withrn2D Lattice Gas Automata (LGA). Based on our simulationsrnwe have developed a set of new equations to calculate fluidrnsaturation from electrical measurements. The calculationsrnfrom the new equations show very good agreement withrnlaboratory measurements and published data.
