摘要

Preliminary results of a feasibility study on the possibility of employing the hot exhaust gas to heat an adsorptive natural gas (ANG) storage cylinder during vehicle operation is presented. Energy is transferred by forced convection from the exhaust gas to the carbon bed in a jacketed reservoir. The results presented here fro a regular carbon bed show that the adsorption tank can attain isothermal performance with perfectly feasible exhaust temperatures.
