Experimental data on photoadsorption effects of O_2, H_2, and CH_4 under the irradiation with light (200-800 nm) on MCM-41 modified with V-oxide nanoparticles are presented. The particles were produced by chemical interaction of VOCl_3 vapor swith dehydrated and partially dehydroxylated MCM-41 silica and subsequent hydrolysis with water vapors. The synthesis procedure is described in detail. In-situ IR spectroscopy was used to clarify some features of the synthesis process.
