This paper has established hydrodynamic model.Goaf is divided into immediate roof caving section,main roof caving to pressure section and strata subsidence extent,and calculated the permeability,respectively;simulate the gas flow field in the ventilated way of "Y + I" and "U + I" type respectively,and compare with the measured gas concentration to verify its reliability.By analyzing "Y + I" type ventilation type and "U + I" type ventilation way numerical results were concluded that the gas distributing rule,and analyzed the mechanism of the "Y + I" type,which the manages mechanism of the gas accumulation in upper comer.From the numerical calculation results and field measured gas concentration data,we get that the "Y + I" type increases the empty left roadway as a dedicated gas emissions roadway,changes the goaf air leakage in the wind,and a large part of goaf air leakage from the side of the empty left roadway rather than the comer position.Ventilation conditions improved in upper comer,and gas concentrations were significantly lower in working face,return air roadway,gas drainage gateway and the upper comer,and the effect of gas accumulation in upper comer is obvious.
