With the coal mining depth increasing,shaft uncovering coal and gas outburst risk are increasing.It is a crucial issue to solve the problem in vertical shaft construction.Through the comparative analysis of field measurement coal seam gas parameters,we recognized the risk of shaft uncovering coal outburst.In order to reduce the risk,the authors have designed mine shaft stress distribution in accordance with the relevant provisions of the technology of exposing outburst coal seam.The safety and efficency of coal industry in Jinzhong of Shanxi coal transportation and sales group Zijin main shaft exposed in new 6th has been proved by the practice of outburst coal seam.This shaft uncovering coal and gas outburst coal seam has a strong guiding significance.
