DOCSIS Cable Device MIB Cable Device Management Information Base for DOCSIS compliant Cable Modems and Cable Modem Termination Systems

This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)for use with network management protocols in the Internet community.In particular, it defines a basic set of managed objects for SNMPbasedmanagement of DOCSIS 1.0 compliant Cable Modems and Cable ModemTermination Systems.This memo specifies a MIB module in a manner that is compliant to theSNMP SMIv2 [5][6][7]. The set of objects is consistent with the SNMPframework and existing SNMP standards.This memo is a product of the IPCDN working group within the InternetEngineering Task Force.
